Data deletion request

The status of a data deletion request sent to Salzee through Facebook's Apps and Websites settings, and what such a request removes.

What this page is

When you remove Salzee from your Facebook account and ask Facebook to delete your data, Facebook sends us a data deletion request and shows you a confirmation code with a link to this page. Open that link, or add ?code= and the code to this address, to see where the request stands.

How to make a request

  • From Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → Salzee → Remove, and choose to send a data deletion request. Facebook gives you a confirmation code you can check here.
  • From inside Salzee: Settings › Integrations › Meta › Disconnect. This removes the same data immediately, with no code needed.

What this request does and does not delete

A data deletion request removes what Salzee holds about your Facebook account and its connection: the name and app-scoped id of the account that connected, the access tokens, and the link to the Pages, Instagram accounts and WhatsApp numbers chosen at the time. Those assets stop syncing straight away.

Leads, contact records and message history that a business collected through its own Pages, ad forms and WhatsApp number are that business’s customer records. Salzee holds them on the business’s behalf, and they are not deleted by this request. To have those removed, contact the business directly. If you believe Salzee should act on this itself, write to [email protected] and we will look into it.

See the Privacy Policy for how we handle data from Meta generally, and Delete your account for removing your Salzee login and workspace.
